I’m Dr. Sharla Berry, a researcher, evaluator, and practitioner with expertise on technology equity in K-20 environments.

I facilitate webinars, workshops, lectures and keynotes about best practices for teaching with technology, with a special focus on equity, inclusion, student engagement, and community-building.

I help K-20 educators and administrators harness the power of technology to meet students’ needs for connection, community, and the development of 21st century skills.

Check out my new book!

In Creating Inclusive Online Communities, I share strategies for educators and administrators who wish to engage and retain diverse learners in online and hybrid environments. Readers will receive actionable strategies for taking an equity-oriented approach to improving virtual learning. One of the best aspects of this book is that it views online teaching and learning through an intersectional lens, examining how race, sex, culture, class, and ability impact online teaching and learning. Even as we return to in-person instruction, educators and administrators who are seeking to improve technology integration in their courses and programs would do well to utilize this amazing resource.
